The vehicle architecture is body-frame-integral, with a steel body and aluminum chassis. The vehicle is 198.9-in. long with a short front overhang; the wheelbase is 121 in. The vehicle is 76-in, wide, with the fenders providing what can be honestly described as “muscular” bulges over the 21-in. (front) and 22-in. (rear) wheels.

Renae Briel, of Middle Island, joined the company’s billing department. She has 12 years of experience in billing and holds an associate’s degree in communication and computers from Adelphi University.

Actually the Cruze is what General Motors calls a compact lifestyle vehicle. Developed with alliance partner Suzuki, the Cruze was built for Japan. where the smaller the cars are, the better. It is also marketed under the Suzuki Arena name.

What I like about the Cruze is its high content and high quality feel. In the U.S., small usually means chintzy so I didn’t expect much. But the Cruze sells in one of the largest segments in Japan and its high content helps set it apart.

First on the list is an active four-wheel-drive system coupled with an electromagnetic control device (EMCD), which Is an electronically controlled coupling system.

In the interior of the vehicle, the high content and high quality continues. GM says the inside of the Cruze was designed to have a distinct American look. What developed was an instrument panel that can be described as both elegant and sporty with a black and silver two-tone arrangement.

Sunshine Network and Chevrolet are partnering this fall to provide Florida’s passionate college football fans with a stellar lineup of live studio shows available no where else on television.

A new sponsorship agreement between Sunshine and Chevrolet integrates the Chevrolet brand and products into every TAILGATE SATURDAY college football show on the Florida regional sports network. In crafting this new integrated sponsorship agreement with Chevrolet, the creative elements used to develop the association between the automotive company and Sunshine’s Florida-based college football programming illustrate the unique marketing synergies available through this new partnership. Product placement, features, special promotions and other creative elements will be incorporated. Chevrolet’s strong local dealership presence throughout the state, matched with Sunshine’s coverage of the home teams for the hometown fans, affords strong marketing synergies.

Toyota: Travis Kvapil. In his three years in the series, Kvapil never has witnessed the level of manufacturer support he now has with Toyota. With the backing of Toyota Racing Development and a seasoned racer in Skinner as his teammate, Kvapil should have a rapidly accelerated learning curve.

He was pleasantly surprised by the performance of the Toyotas, especially his second-place finish, in the season opener at Daytona. “We were searching for speed during testing,” Kvapil says. “But that wasn’t an issue during the race. The Tundras proved to be durable and reliable”
