Ebony and Chevrolet offer guide to college-bound students - ‘1996-97 Guide to Historically Black Colleges and Universities’

EBONY Magazine is responsible for the research and editorial content of the college guide.
John H. Johnson, publisher, chairman and CEO of Johnson Publishing Company, said, “In order to distinguish yourself from the crowd, you have to be better prepared than anyone else. A quality education can be the comerstone of success.”
The 120-page guide includes information on choosing a college and how to apply for admission and financial aid. Eighty-eight colleges and universities are profiled in state-by-state groups. Another section introduces some of the schools’ famous alumni. The booklet also includes a listing of scholarships and eligibility requirements.
