Sunshine Network and Chevrolet are partnering this fall to provide Florida’s passionate college football fans with a stellar lineup of live studio shows available no where else on television.

A new sponsorship agreement between Sunshine and Chevrolet integrates the Chevrolet brand and products into every TAILGATE SATURDAY college football show on the Florida regional sports network. The agreement gives the automotive company entitlement of Sunshine’s successful live TAILGATE SATURDAY studio lineup including the “College Kickoff” show, “Seminole Postgame,” “Gator Postgame,” and the “Football Wrap” show. All are now presented under the CHEVY TAILGATE SATURDAY banner. In addition, Chevrolet will entitle the network’s Florida State University and University of Florida bowl specials.

In crafting this new integrated sponsorship agreement with Chevrolet, the creative elements used to develop the association between the automotive company and Sunshine’s Florida-based college football programming illustrate the unique marketing synergies available through this new partnership. Product placement, features, special promotions and other creative elements will be incorporated. Chevrolet’s strong local dealership presence throughout the state, matched with Sunshine’s coverage of the home teams for the hometown fans, affords strong marketing synergies.

“We are very pleased to continue the relationship that started earlier this year with Sunshine Network’s ‘Chevy Florida Fishing Report’,” said Alex Walsh, Chevrolet Advertising and Marketing Manager. “Chevrolet has a long-standing tradition of supporting college athletics, and particularly college football. So we are naturally excited about being able to partner with Sunshine Network to provide great college football coverage across Florida.”

“With the unveiling of 10 new cars and trucks over a 20 month period, it is clear that something big is happening at Chevrolet,” said Walsh, “And what better way to communicate this than to tie-in with two things that are truly big throughout Florida: Sunshine Network and College Football.”

Sunshine Network, a Fox-owned and managed regional sports network, reaches more than 6.1 million homes across Florida via cable and satellite. The network has agreements with more than a dozen regional teams/properties including the Orlando Magic, Miami Heat, Tampa Bay Lightning, Florida State University, University of Florida, UCF, ACC, SEC and more.
